Con una infancia transcurrida entre bombas e intentos de asesinato contra su padre, la cineasta explora su relación con él, con Cuba y con la Cuba que él dejó atrás. A través del prisma de una hija exploramos el presente, el pasado, y la naturaleza de la responsabilidad social y el sacrificio personal.
With a childhood filled with bombing and assassination attempts on her father, the filmmaker explores her relationship with him and the Cuba he left behind. Through the prism of a daughter we explore the past, the present, and the nature of social responsibility and personal sacrifice.

VIVEN LESNIK WEISMAN (La Habana, Cuba). Se graduó en el Barnad College con una licenciatura en Historia del Arte, hizo un posgrado en jurisprudencia en la Universidad de Nueva York. Hizo una maestria en cine en la UCLA. Sus cortometrajes han sido premiados. Estudió con la prestigiada documentalista Maya Goldoskaya. Este es su primer documental de largometraje.
She was born in Havana, Cuba. She graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in Art History and New York Law School with a Doctorate in Jurisprudence. She went on to receive an MFA in directing from the UCLA School of Film and Television. She has received numerous awards for her short films including the prestigious UCLA Spotlight Award for Best Dramatic Short, the Houston Film Festival Best Short Award and a Golden Eagle for Excellence in Latino Filmmaking. She studied under acclaimed documentary director, Marina Goldovskaya. This is her first documentary.
