Ali, Kwika, Omar y Boubker, son niños de la calle; a pesar de todas las penuries cotidianas una amistad indestructibles los une. En un pleito entre bandas rivales Ali muere. Sus tres amigos deciden hacerle un gran entierro.

Ali, Kwika, Omar y Boubker are street children; in spite of all daily hardships, an indestructible friendship joins them. In a fight between rival gangs Ali dies. His three friends decide to offer him a great funeral.

NABIL AYOUCH (1969, París). De padre marroquí y madre francesa, nació y creció en París. Después de estudiar teatro tres años se dedicó a la dirección. Dirige anuncios publicitarios y en 1992 su primer cortometraje Les Pierres Bleues du Désert. Mektoub, su ópera prima, rompió el récord de taquilla histórico en Marruecos.

Born on April 1st 1969, from Moroccan father, and French mother, he was born and grew in Paris. After studying theater for three years with Sarah Boréo and Michel Granvale, he took up directing. He directs advertisements and in 1992 his first short film Les Pierres Bleues du Désert. His first feature film, Mektoub was a historical box office hit with more than 350,000 viewers and the official representative to the Academy Awards.
