Juicio sigue el proceso de menores que están en manos del sistema legal brasileño. Chicos y chicas de clases poco privilegiadas enfrentan crimen, juicio y sentencia por robo, drogadicci´øn y hasta asesinato. Debido a las restricciones legales acerca de revelar la verdadera identidad de los menores enjuiciados , los adolescentes fueron sustituidos por jóvenes elegidos por ellos mismos por haber vivido en situaciones similares. Todos los otros personajes de Juicio, jueces, fiscales, defensores públicos, familia, son ls personas reales filmadas durante los procesos en la Corte Juvenile de Rio de Janeiro y visitas al Instituto Padre Severino, la correccional a donde se envía a los menores infractores.
Juízo (Behave) follows the process of minors (less than 18) who have fallen into the hands of the Brazilian legal system. Boys and girls from underprivileged backgrounds faced with crime, ruling, and sentences handed down for theft, drug trafficking, and even murder. Due to legal constraints about revealing the true identity of the minors charged, the accused adolescents were substituted with young people chosen for having themselves lived in similar social conditions, although innocent of any actual crime. All the other characters in Juízo – judges, prosecutors, public defenders, correctional agents, family members – are the real people filmed during the hearings in the Juvenile Court in Rio de Janeiro and visits to the Padre Severino Institute, the correctional facility where the law-breaking minors are sent to.

Justicia (2004) fue premiada con nueve premios internacionales, Desi (2000)ganó el premio del público en el International Documentary Festival en Amsterdam y el Golden Calf por el mejor documental holandés en el Netherlands Film Festival en 2001.
She is an internationally recognized filmmaker. Justica (Justice, 2004) was awarded nine international prizes; Desi (2000) won the Audience Award at the IDFA 2000 and the Golden Calf the Best Dutch Documentary at the Netherlands Film Festival 2001.
