París, a mediados de los años 70. Un fotógrafo conoce a un hombre demacrado y tenebroso llamado Viktor Atemian. Ambos se hacen amigos e inventan juegos dadaístas. Atemian empieza a escribir sin parar. Le publican su relato “Fils de chien” y, de un día para otro, sin ninguna explicación, liquida la floreciente agencia de traducción rusa que dirige y vende su lujoso apartamento a unos americanos. Los tiempos y la ciudad van cambiando… Su dinero se va agotando… Es la historia de un escritor improvisado que alcanza el éxito y luego le aguarda la travesía del desierto hasta acabar en la calle.

Paris, in the mid-70s. A photographer meets an emaciated, tenebrous man called Viktor Atemian. The two become friends and invent dadaist games. Atemian starts writing incessantly. Following the publication of his short story “Fils de chien”, suddenly, with no explanation, he winds up his thriving Russian translation agency and sells his luxury apartment to some Americans. Times and the city change… His money starts running out… This is the tale of an improvised author who rises to the heights of success before crossing the desert and ending in the street.

AURELIA GEORGES (París, 1973)
Estudió en la Fémis y ha dirigido dos documentales y cinco cortometrajes, entre ellos Sur la pente, presentado en el festival Premiers Plans en 2002. Ayudante de producción, colaboradora de la revista L’Art du Cinéma y correctora de guiones, ha formado parte también del equipo de selección de la Quinzaine des Réalisateurs. Actualmente escribe su segundo largometraje.

She studied at the Femis and has directed two documentaries and five short films, including Sur la pente, presented at the Premiers Plans Festival in 2002. An assistant producer, she collaborates with the L’Art du Cinéma review, corrects scripts and has also been a member of the selection team for the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes. She is currently writing her second feature film.
