Darling es una comedia negra sobre los jóvenes arrogantes de clase alta, la gente normal y la vida en Estocolmo en los años 2000. La bella y ensimismada Eva inicia una aventura amorosa banal que se convierte en el punto de partida de un lento e inexorable descenso en la escala social y de una amistad sorprendente, pero condenada al fracaso, con un ingeniero desempleado de 61 años.

Darling is a dark comedy about young obnoxious upper class, ordinary folks and the condition of life in the Stockholm of the 2000s. Beautiful and self-absorbed Eva engages in a banal affair that becomes the starting point of a slow but relentless descent down to the life of ordinary people and a surprising, but doomed friendship with an unemployed, 61-year-old engineer.

JOHAN KLING (Estocolmo, 1962).
Ha producido, escrito y dirigido varias series para la televisión de Suecia que han tenido un impacto notable en ese país, como «Stockholmers» (2001), considerada un precedente de la británica «The Office», y «Spacer» (2002). En 2003, escribe y dirige el cortometraje Jag. Darling es su primer largometraje y ganó el Nordic Film Award en el Festival de Göteborg.

He produced, wrote and directed several series for Swedish television which have had a remarkable impact in that country, such as «Stockholmers» (2001), considered as a precedent for the British «The Office» and «Spacer» (2002). In 2003, he wrote and directed the short Jag, making his feature debut with Darling, winner of the Nordic Film Award at Göteborg Festival.
