Cuando la amistad vale más que cualquier amor. Es la historia de tres inseparables jóvenes amigos: Alejandra, Daniel y Omar, quienes viven juntos en un céntrico departamento de una ciudad del norte de México. Debido a presiones familiares, Alejandra se ve obligada a dar alojamiento temporal a una muy atractiva joven pareja que no conocen: Rufino y Paz. Debido a una supuesta riña familiar, la pareja viene huyendo y necesita esconderse en algún sitio. Al inicio la pareja aparenta ser muy conservadora con respecto al modo de vida de los amigos, pero después de varios días de convivencia, poco a poco se establece entre los cinco una inusual red de deseos.
When friendship is worth more than any love. It’s the story of the inseparable young friends: Alejandra, Daniel and Omar, who live together, sharing a downtown apartment in a northern Mexican city. Due to family pressure, Alejandra is forced to give temporary shelter to a very attractive young couple they haven’t met before; Rufino and Paz. Du to an alleged family argument, the couple is on the run and need someplace to hide. At the beginning the couple appears to be very conservative regarding the friend’s lifestyle, but after a few days of sharing their living space, little by little an unusual web of desires develops among the five of them.

JESÚS MARIO LÓZANO (1971)
Guionista y realizador, su ópera prima, Así, fue estrenada en la Semana Internacional de la Crítica del Festival de Venecia, y posteriormente presentada en distintos festivales nacionales e internacionales. En 1999, su mediometraje El banquete. Una procesión, recibió el primer lugar nacional en la categoría documental en el Festival de Video y Artes Electrónicas del CONACULTA. Ha dirigido varios cortometrajes y actualmente es profesor de la Facultad de Artes Visuales de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León y codirector del Laboratorio de experimentación cinematográfica (Cinelav) de la misma institución. También es codirector de la productora cinematográfica XUL Producciones.
Scriptwriter and filmmaker, her first work Así was premiered at the Semana Internacional de la Crítica at the Venice Festival and was later screened indifferent national and international festivals.
