Vengar la muerte de un tal William Medina y la prisa por recuperar unos dólares perdidos son el pretexto inicial que une a los protagonistas de este relato: Víctor Peñaranda (Marlon Moreno) y Eusebio Benítez (Óscar Borda), quienes tienen que someterse a las órdenes de ¨El Orejón¨ (Blas Jaramillo), un poderoso empresario devoto de la brujería, deseoso de vengar la muerte de su ahijado y obsesionado por encontrar su dinero.
Set in the Colombian crime world, Carlos Moreno’s smartly scripted debut feature, Perro Come Perro, depicts a brutal universe where gangsters are as vicious as rabid street dogs and voodoo reigns as the supreme form of punishment, doling out karmic fate to its thuggish denizens.
El Orejón is a violent and agoraphobic crime boss who lives surrounded by telescopes in a luxury high-rise apartment in the center of the city. When his godson William Medina is killed, he beseeches Iris, a voodoo priestess, to avenge the murder by casting a deadly spell on the shooter. While Iris conducts her black magic, miles from her a small-town heavy named Victor Peñaranda is carrying out a job to collect money from a slippery pair of twins. He makes a disastrous decision to break the sacred law of the crime world–he keeps the cash for himself. His choice unwittingly sets off a detonation pattern that wreaks havoc through two cities and the realm of the netherworld.
Energetic direction, beautiful lensing , and fantastic performances–led by Marlon Moreno and Oscar Borda–bring this gripping thriller to life. Perro Come Perro is one of the best genre films to come out of Colombia in years and marks Carlos Moreno as an exciting talent to watch.

CARLOS MORENO
Director de cine, músico y Comunicador Social, con Master en Narrativa Audiovisual. Tiene amplia experiencia como director y editor en la realización de documentales, videos de creación y experimentales, piezas publicitarias, video clips, y cortometrajes, tanto a nivel local como en Centroamérica. Perro come perro es su ópera prima. Junto con Gerardo Muyshondt co-dirige el documental Uno: la historia de un gol, acerca de la selección de fútbol de El Salvador y su participación en el Mundial de España 1982. También desarrolla -como director y coguionista- el proyecto del corto Caja negra, y dirige la cinta para la televisión Sin retorno.
Musician Carlos Moreno holds an undergraduate degree in communications and a master’s degree in audiovisual narrative. He has wide experience as a creative leader, editor, and director of commercials and has won several international awards in this field. He has also worked as a writer, editor, and director for short films and music videos.
