La Edad de Oro es una película que documenta la etapa en la vida de la Edad de Oro, una liga de fútbol en el Corona Park, en Queens, Nueva York. No es sólo una liga de fútbol, es una liga muy competitiva de hombres de mediana edad que está hecha de ex campeones sudamericanos. Estos talentosos jugadores, con su antigua gloria y admirada memoria, músculos menos firmes, menos cabello, la línea de la cintura expandida, juegan a un nivel nunca antes documentado para su edad. Durante la semana, estos hombres son limpiavidrios, lavaplatos, vendedores y electricistas, pero el fin de semana es suyo. El juego es ligeramente diferente, pero la pasión permanece.

The Golden Age is a feature film documenting the season in the life of the Golden Age, a soccer league in Corona Park, Queens, New York. Not just any soccer league, the Golden Age is a very competitive middle-aged men’s league that is made up of former world champions from South America. These incredibly skilled players, their former glory a fond memory, muscles tighter, hairlines receding, waistbands expanding, play at a level never before documented for their age. During the week, these men are window washers, dish washers, traders and electricians, but the weekend is theirs. The game is slightly different but the passion remains.

PHIL TUCKETT
Ha sido productor y director en NFL FILMS por más de 32 años. Comenzó como fotógrafo, capturando los más memorables eventos en la historia del fútbol como el Milagro de Meadowlands. Ha sido influyente en el estilo pionero de NFL FILMS. Desde 1978, Tuckett ha ganado 26 Emmys como fotógrafo, guionista, editor y director. También se ha aventurado fuera de los deportes. Produjo y dirigió Where Blood Runs Cold, una serie de cuatro partes de documentales sobre supervivencia en climas extremos para The History Channel.

He has been a Producer/Director at NFL FILMS for over 32 years. Tuckett began as a cinematographer, capturing some of the most memorable events in football history like the stupefying Miracle of the Meadowlands. He has been instrumental in establishing the pioneering style of NFL FILMS filmmaking. Since 1978, Tuckett has won 26 Emmys for cinematography, writing, editing & directing. Tuckett has also ventured outside the sports arena. He produced and directed Where Blood Runs Cold, a four-part series of documentaries for The History Channel about survival in extreme weather conditions.

SCOTT DUNCAN
Es uno de los más celebres y cotizados de los fotógrafos del mundo. Durante 8 años ha sido nominado a 16 premios Emmys (6 ganados) y ha dirigido o fotografiado 19 documentales para televisión además de videos musicales y muchos comerciales. Como fotógrafo, Duncan ha viajado a cada rincón del planeta capturando imágenes que entretienen, educan y capturan. Después de conocerse a través de su trabajo con NFL Films, Duncan se unió a Tuckett para realizar el documental Blood From a Stone de The History Channel, con el que ganaron un premio Emmy.

He is one of the most celebrated and sought after cinematographers in the world. In the past 8 years he has been nominated for 16 Emmy Awards (6 wins) and has directed or shot 19 documentaries for television and theatrical release in addition to music videos, television programs and extensive commercial work. As a photographer and cinematographer, Duncan has traveled every corner of the planet capturing images that entertain, educate and captivate. After meeting through their work with NFL Films, Duncan joined Phil Tuckett to make the History Channel Emmy Award winning documentary, Blood From a Stone.
