From his remarkable accomplishments as the artistic director for the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm to his collaboration with faithful producer Lorens Marmstedt, every aspect of Bergman’s enduring and prolific career are discussed before the pair head back to the director’s Faro home for an intimate and relaxed interview.

MARIE NYRERÖD (Arvika, Suecia, 1955)
Estudió Periodismo en la Universidad de Estocolmo y empezó a trabajar para la televisión sueca en 1980 (entidad que actualmente dirige) antes de desempeñar el puesto de realizadora y productora en el departamento de Arte y Cultura a partir de 1987. Desde entonces ha realizado cientos de reportajes sobre cine, teatro, literatura y otras manifestaciones artísticas. Ingmar Bergman y Marie Nyreröd se conocieron en 1983. Ella ha dirigido películas para la televisión como It’s a Matter of Life (2000), Progg (2001), Chelsea Hotel (2005), y Six Years of Girl Power (2005), entre otras.

Marie Nyrerod was born in 1955 in Arvika (Sweden). She went to journalism school in the Stockholm University and began working at Swedish TV in 1980 (where she is now the director) before directing and producing in the Art and Culture Department in 1987. Since then she have made hundreds of articles about film, theatre, literature and other artistic disciplines. In the latest years Marie has been focused in documentary. Ingmar Bergman and Marie Neyrod first met in 1983. She has directed movies like It’s a Matter of Life (2000), Progg (2001), Chelsea Hotel (2005), and Six Years of Girl Power (2005).
