Hugo y Julia, son estudiantes de la Universidad Autónoma de México con diferentes sueños y metas. Al final, la forma de ser de cada uno de ellos los hará seguir caminos distintos, aprendiendo que: ‘Todo en esta vida tiene un precio’, y cada uno tendrá que pagar el suyo.

Hugo and Julia are two high school students with separate dreams and goals. In the end, each one’s personality will lead them through different paths learning that: ‘In this life, everything has a price’, and each one will have to pay theirs.

VÍCTOR JESÚS AVELAR MARTÍNEZ (México D.F. 1966)
Director, guionista y fotógrafo. En 1994 ingresa al Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), especializándose como Cinefotógrafo. Se gradúa con el cortometraje filmado en 35 mm Jacqueline. Ella dijo, el cual escribe, dirige y fotografía. Se ha desempeñado trabajando como director de fotografía de spots publicitarios y videoclips. En el 2005 realiza el cortometraje Rosa y obtiene una Mención Honorífica al quedar entre los diez mejores cortometrajes. ¡¿Cómo no te voy a querer!? resultó ganador del programa de Óperas Primas 2006 del CCC.

Director, scriptwriter and photographer. In 1994 joins the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), majoring in film photography. Obtains his bachelor’s with the short filmed in 35mm Jacqueline. Ella dijo, which he writes, directs and photographs. He has worked as photography director in advertising and music videos. In 2005 he directs the short film Rosa and obtains an Honorable Mention being among the ten best short films. ¡¿Cómo no te voy a querer!? won at the 2006 Óperas Primas program at the CCC.
