Hay peores cosas que la muerte…Catalina y Ágata Hameran son hermanas gemelas, desde niñas han tenido una conexión asociada típicamente a su lazo carnal, una conexión casi telepática. Una noche, Ágata se encuentra con un extraño niño en plena carretera, por el cual, sufre un terrible accidente que la deja en estado de coma, pero esta condición es algo más que un simple término médico. Ágata queda atrapada entre el mundo de los vivos y el mundo de los muertos. Un extraño purgatorio que es transportado a la psique de su hermana Catalina.

After the tragic death of their mother when they were children, twin sisters Agata and Catalina Hameran developed a special skill, a way of communicating without speaking, a link between them. After a mysterious accident on Kilometer 31, Agata falls into a coma. Catalina, thanks to their link, feels the pain and tragedy that her sister is going through at the time of the accident. Following a series of supernatural events, Catalina realizes that their link is stronger than ever and that her sister Agata is screaming for help from her unconscious state.

RIGOBERTO CASTAÑEDA (México, 1973).
Estudió en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica y debutó como guionista y director en 1997 con el cortometraje Necrofilia. También es productor y realizador de televisión con un claro interés por las historias de suspenso y horror. Después del éxito de Kilómetro 31 en 2006, dirige el thriller de horror Blackout.

Studied at CCC and in 1997 wrote and directed his first short film Necrofilia. He is also producer and tv director. He likes horror soties. After the succes of Kilómetro 31, he is directing the thriller Blackout.
