Marina y Simón trabajan en un peaje desgastado por el tiempo junto a un cultivo de algodón, en medio de una carretera desolada. Ellos se encargan de dar la bienvenida a los conductores que esporádicamente llegan a pagar una tarifa para poder seguir. Durante el transcurso del día, entre vehículo y vehículo, intentan combatir el tedio de su trabajo inventándose juegos tontos.

Marina and Simón work at a toll booth worn out by time, next to a cotton field, in the midst of a lonely road. They welcome drivers which sporadically get there, pay a toll in order to drive through. Along the day, between vehicles, they try to fight the tedium of their job making up silly games.

ANDI BAIZ
Estudió cine en la Universidad de Nueva Cork. Junto al director francés Rafael Nadjari produjo cuatro cortos de horror. Entre el 2001 y 2004 fue director, productor y editor del Centro Films en Nueva York, así como crítico de cine para la revista LOFT. Trabajó en la producción de películas como Bringing Out the Dead, Zoolander, Cremaster 2, Maria Full of Grace y The Fittest. Su cortometraje La hoguera fue seleccionado para la Quincena de Realizadores del Festival de Cannes 2007. En el mismo año realiza Satanás, su primer largometraje.

Studied cinema at New York University. With French director Rafael Nadjari he has produced for horror short films. Between 2001 and 2004 he was director, producer and editor a the Film Center in New York, as well as film critic for the for LOFT magazine. He has worked in production for films such as Bringing Out the Dead, Zoolander, Cremaster 2, Maria Full of Grace and The Fittest. His short film La hoguera was selected for the Director’s fortnight as the Cannes Film Festival in 2007. also in 2007 he made his first feature film Satanás.
