PABLO LOBATO (Despacho, MG, Brasil, 1976).
Estudió filosofía en la Escuela de Bellas Artes en Minas Gerais y se graduó en Estudios mediáticos en la Universidad Católica de Minas Gerais, en donde se especializó en Cine. Es uno de los fundadores de TEIA, un centro de investigación audiovisual en Belo Horizonte. Lobato concibe sus piezas en diferentes formatos audiovisuales como instalaciones y fotografía. Como director, fotógrafo y editor ha desarrollado documentales, videos experimentakes y cortos. Accidente su primer largometraje documental ganó el XXII Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara.

He studied Photography at Guignard, a Fine Arts School in Minas Gerais and graduated in Media Studies at the Catholic University of Minas Gerais, PUC-MG, where he completed his specialization in Cinema. He is one of the founders of TEIA, an audiovisual research center in Belo Horizonte. Lobato conceives his audiovisual pieces in different formats such as video installations and photography exhibitions. As a director, cinematographer, editor and script writer, he has developed documentaries, experimental videos and short films. Acidente, his first long feature film, co-directed by Cao Guimarães was awarded the Best Ibero-American Documentary at the 22th Guadalajara International Film Festival.
