PÍA SICARDI (Buenos Aires, 1979). Comenzó sus estudios de cine en el año 2002, cursando un año en el CIEVYC, luego tomó cursos de iluminación para video digital y un año de dirección de fotografía en el SICA. En el año 2004 ingresó en la Escuela Nacional de Experimentación y Realización Cinematográfica. Trabajó como Ayudante de Dirección en los largometrajes Soy Tu Aventura, de Néstor Montalbano (2003), y Mentiras Piadosas (2007), de Diego Sabanés. Entrecenizas es su trabajo de tesis.

Started her film studies in 2002; studying for a year at the CIEVYC, later she took courses on illumination for digital video and a year of Photographic direction at the SICA. In 2004 joined the Escuela Nacional de Experimentación y Realización Cinematográfica. She has worked as Director’s Assistant on the feature film Soy Tu Aventura, by Néstor Montalbano (2003), and Mentiras Piadosas (2007), by Diego Sabanés. Entrecenizas is her thesis work.
