Antes que el viento sople es una ficción que cuenta la historia de tres jóvenes que están a punto de separarse para efectuar operaciones suicidas. Los conocemos en el momento en el que cada uno se detiene antes de que se tome su retrato antes de iniciar la mision. El primero es un piloto japonés en una base military en la II Guerra mundial, el Segundo una joven libanesa filmando un video de propaganda durante la Guerra civil de Líbano a mediados de los ochenta y el tercero es un joven palestino en un campo de refugiados en territories ocupados.
Before the Winds Blows is a short fiction film telling the story of three young people about to depart on different suicide operations. We encounter each one as they pause to have their portrait taken before setting off on their mission. The first is a Japanese pilot on a military base during World War II, the second, a young Lebanese woman recording a propaganda video during the Lebanon civil war in the mid-eighties, and the third is a young Palestinian man from a refugee camp in the Occupied Territories.

SAMER NAJARI (1976)
Hijo de padre sirio y madre libanesa vivió en Damasco, Siria hasta la edad de 18 años/ Después empezó a estudiar arquitectura en la Universidad de Damasco y poco tiempo después emigró a Montreal Canadá en 1994. Desde entonces obtuvo una licenciatura en producción cinematográfica en Concordia University e hizo una residencia en in 2001 Le Studio National des Arts Contemporains, Le Fresnoy en Francia. Durante este periodo realizó dos películas que han ganado varios premios internacionales. De regreso en Montreal dirigió Le petit oiseau va sortir.
Son of a syrian father and a lebanese mother, lived in Damascus, Syria, until the age of eighteen. Shortly after having started architecture studies at the University of Damascus, he immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1994. Since then, he obtained a B.F.A. in film production from Concordia University in 2001 and also completed a residency at Le Studio National des Arts Contemporains, Le Fresnoy in France during the years 2001-2003. During this residency he realized two films witch have been presented and prized in different international manifestations. Back in Montreal, he directed Le petit oiseau va sortir.
