En un suntuoso palacio en el sótano de una casa de clase media en Montreal, la princesa Betty duerme en un estupor narcoléptico. El rey está a su lado. Llama al tío Enrique VIII, la tía Victoria, un emotivo alien, una fría bruja, y ¿por qué no? ¡un guapo príncipe! El valeroso Príncipe Carlos tiene que dejar su suburbio real, confrontar un dragón canadiense y ser valiente con una serie de retos surreales en el camino para salvar a la princesa. ¿Pero la princesa Betty podrá ser despertada con sólo un beso?

In a sumptuous palace in the basement of a house in a Montreal workingclass neighbourhood, Princess Betty sleeps in a narcoleptic stupor. The king is at her bedside. He appeals to Uncle Henri VIII, Aunt Victoria, an emotional alien, a cool witch and, why not, a handsome prince! This worthy Prince Charles look-alike has to leave his royal suburb, confront a Canadian dragon and brave a surreal set of road rules in order to save the princess. But will Betty be wakened with just a kiss?

CLAUDE CLOUTIER (Montreal, 1957)
Se unió a la NFB y filmó su primer corto, The President Peddler, inspirado en su tira cómica La leyenda de Jean-Guy. A éste proyecto le siguió Overdose, producido como parte de la serie Rights From the Heart. Entre 1990 y 1998, Claudio también animó secuencias para varias películas. En 1998 y 2000, realizó cinco cortos animados para las series Science, Please!: Wheel Meets Friction, The Wonderful World of Colour, Slippery Ice!, The Force of Water y Internal Combustion Engine.

He joined the NFB and completed his first short, The Persistent Peddler, inspired by his comic strip La legend des Jean-Guy. This project was followed by Overdose, produced as part of the Rights From the Heart series. Between 1990 and 1998, Claude also created animated sequences for many films. In 1998 and 2000, he made five animated shorts for the Science, Please! series: Wheel Meets Friction, The Wonderful World of Colour, Slippery Ice!, The Force of Water and Internal Combustion Engine.
