Martin Ward (Colm Feore) y David Bouchard (Patrick Huard) no podrían ser más distintos. Uno habla inglés y es de Toronto, y el otro es un francoparlante de Quebec. Uno obedece la ley, el otro hace sus propias leyes. Cuando se ven obligados a trabajar juntos en una investigación cuya jurisdicción geográfica es tan misteriosa como el motivo del crimen que buscan resolver, sus diferencias amenazan la investigación y ayudan a resolver su misterio.

Martin Ward (Colm Feore) and David Bouchard (Patrick Huard) couldn’t be more different: one speaks English and is from Toronto, and the other is a francophone from Quebec. One obeys the law, the other makes his own. When they are forced to work together on an investigation whose geographic jurisdiction is as mysterious as the motive of the crime they are out to solve, their differences both threaten the investigation and help pierce its mystery.

ÉRIK CANUEL ha sido reconocido como un director de respeto por varios años, por su trabajo en publicidad, videos musicales y series de televisión, incluyendo un número de episodios de la galardonada serie Fortier, por la cual recibió una nominación al premio Gémeaux. El año pasado dirigió el filme Le Survenant / The Outlander, de gran popularidad y aclamado por la crítica, basado en una novela de Germaine Guèvremont. También dirigió un documental en formato IMAX; Hemingway: A Portrait, el cual ganó el premio Genie por mejor corto documental, al igual que el Maximum Image Award entregado en el Miami Aventura Imax Days

Érik Canuel has been acknowledged as a director to be reckoned with now for several years, for his work in advertising, on music videos, and television series, including a number of episodes of the award-winning series “Fortier”, for which he earned a Gémeaux Award nomination. Last year he also directed the popular and critically acclaimed film “Le Survenant / The Outlander” based on the novel by Germaine Guèvremont. Other Érik Canuel films include: “Le dernier tunnel”, “Nez rouge” (with Patrick Huard) and the thriller “La loi du cochon / Pig’s Law.” He also directed the IMAX documentary “Hemingway: A Portrait” which won the Genie for best short documentary, as well as the Maximum Image Award at the Miami Aventura Imax Days. This year will be another busy one for Érik Canuel who, besides giving us “Bon Cop Bad Cop”, will begin working on his next film, as well as serving as the honorary president of the 2006 edition of Montreal’s Fantasia Film Festival.
