Tras saber que sufre de sÃndrome de Alzheimer, Madeleine (Monique Mercure), de 72 años de edad, decide que no va a dejar que sus seres más cercanos y más queridos sufran su miseria, y que ella no desea sobrevivir a su conciencia. Demasiado orgullosa para soportar su degeneración, pondrá fin a su vida.Pero antes desea dar una gira de despedida, ver a aquellos que ama, una vez más. Contrata a una mujer llamada Zoé, para que sea su chofer; música de 35 años de edad a quien conoce por accidente y que parece también estar pasando por un periodo difÃcil.
Learning that she suffers from Alzheimer disease, Madeleine (Monique Mercure), 72 years old, decides that she will not subject her nearest and dearest to her misery and that she will not outlive her own consciousness. Too proud to put up with her degeneration, she instead will bring her life to an end. But first she wants to do a short farewell tour, to see those she loves once more. She hires a woman named Zoé to drive her, a 35-year-old musician she meets by chance and who seems to be going through a difficult period herself.

FERNAND DANSEREAU (Montréal, Quebec, Canada, 1928)
Ha tenido una carrera de pionero del cine y la televisión, tanto como escritor como director y productor.Tras varios años de laborar como reportero en el periódico Le Devoir, comenzó a atrabajar con la National Film Board of Canada (NFB) en 1955. AhÃ, ocupo posiciones sucesivas como moderador en pantalla, guionista, director y productor, hasta que finalmente quedó a cargo de toda la producción en lengua francesa. El fue el instigador del nacimiento del Groupe de recherches sociales en la NFB en 1966. Con el pasar de los años él ha contribuido considerablemente a construir una estructura para las pelÃculas de Quebec. También ha participado en comités en el consejo de planeación sobre filmes y trabajos audiovisuales del gobierno de Quebec (1981-82).En el 2005 recibió el premio Albert Tessier, la más alta distinción que otorga el gobierno Canadiense en el área de producción cinematográfica.
He has had a pioneering career in the movies and on television both as a screenwriter and as a director and producer. After several years as a labor reporter with the newspaper Le Devoir, he began work with the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) in 1955. There he successively occupied the positions of on-screen moderator, scriptwriter, director and producer, until finally he was put in charge of all of French-language production. He was the instigator of the birth at the NFB in 1966 of the Groupe de recherches sociales. Over the years he has contributed considerably to building a structure for Québec film. He also sat on the Québec government’s planning board on film and audiovisual works (1981-82). In 2005 he received the Albert Tessier award, the highest distinction accorded by the Québec government in the area of filmmaking.
