Un sueño misterioso atormenta al joven David. Debilitado por sus enfermedades, es prisionero de su propia cama. Todo esto cambia cuando conoce a Catalina, la hermosa hija de su nana y se enamoran. Pero los adultos que dominan la vida de estos jóvenes tratan de intervenir en este amor prohibido. David lucha para enfrentar estos obstáculos no sólo con los mayores sino contra fuerzas ocultas más allá de este mundo.

A mysterious dream presages the awakening of David. Debilitated by numerous illnesses, David is a prisoner of his own bed. All this changes however when he meets Catalina, the beautiful daughter of the house maid and quickly fall in love. The adults that dominate their innocent lives quickly move to intervene in what they see as an inappropriate relationship. David’s journey to overcome these obstacles brings him into conflict not only with the grown-ups but forces beyond this world.

Pertenece a una excitante nueva generación de cineastas latinos. De descendencia chilena, se crió en Los Angeles y desarrolló una pasión por todo lo relacionado con el cine. Después de atender las prestigiadas instituciones de Mirman y Windward en su adolescencia, se inscribió en la escuela de cine de la Universidad de Southern California. Mientras realizaba sus estudios hizo prácticas en Tollin-Robbins CO, Davis Entertainment, y Bedford Falls. Luego de graduarse, enfocó sus enseñanzas y pasión por el cine en Chile con la meta de subir la calidad del cine de su país. Catalina es la primera película de esta misión y muestra su capacidad.

Heralds an exciting new generation of latin filmmakers. Of Chilean descent, he grew up in Los Angeles and developed a passion for all things cinema. He graduated from the USC school of Cinema-Television with a degree in Critical Studies. While studying, he has interned at Tollin-Robbins CO, Davis Entertainment, and Bedford Falls. After finishing film school, he decided to bring his knowledge and passion for film to Chile with the goal of elevating the country’s position in the world of cinema. Catalina is his first project in this mission and showcases his talent.
