Roberto, de cuarenta y tres años y Carmen, de catorce, huyeron juntos de Córdoba hace dos días, escapando de sus vidas y familias. Un viaje improvisado, casi sin plata ni abrigo, y con la policía detrás. El último día del viaje será determinante. Inspirado libremente en una historia real.

Roberto (43) and Carmen (14) have been on the run for two days, escaping from their lives and families. An improvised trip, almost with no money nor shelter, and with the police behind them. The last day of the trip will be determinant. Inspired on real facts.

GONZALO TOBAL(Argentina, 1981)
Estudió Dirección Cinematográfica en la Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires. Cursó también estudios de Filosofía y Artes en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Escribió y dirigió los cortometrajes Cerrar la tapa ( 2003), y Álbum familiar en cuatro entregas (2005), participando en diversos festivales internacionales, entre los que se destaca el Berlinale Talent Campus 3 (2005). Su nuevo corto, Ahora todos parecen contentos (2007), se presentó mundialmente en la sección Cinefondation del Festival de Cannes y en Argentina en el BAFICI.

He studied Film Directing at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. He also took some studies of Philosophy and Arts at Universidad de Buenos Aires. He wrote and directed the short films To Shut the Lid (2003), and Family Album in Four Installments (2005), participating at several international festivals, the most remarkable being the Berlinale Talent Campus 3 (2005). His new short film Now Everybody Seems to Be Happy (2007), had its world premiere at the Cinefondation section of the Cannes Film Festival, and in Argentina, it has been presented at BAFICI.
