The Guadalajara International Film festival is, according to its Director, Jorge Sanchez, the most appealing one, among the ones held in Latin America. Thus he spoke during a breakfast held with the Press in Guadalajara on Wednesday January 30. This opinion was shared by Igor Lozada, General Director of Cultural Promotion at the University of Guadalajara (Difusión Cultural Universidad de Guadalajara), who added that he is confident that this year’s Festival will leave everyone with a good aftertaste.

Among the events which are already confirmed for the 23d Festival’s edition, during which a remembrance for Tin Ran will be very present, we can find the exhibit Tin tan in Pictures, with photographs form the artist’s family archives as well as film posters from many of his films. These will be shown on the centerwalk of Paseo Chapultepec in Guadalajara. Also in Chapultepec the film El rey del barrio by Gilberto Martinez Solares will be screened on Saturday March 8th.
