Casa de America calls for applicants for its 6th Course for Ibero American Film Projects

casadeamerica.jpgCasa de América will grant six scholarships 2008 Call for Spaniards and Latin Americans which reside in Spain.

The Casa de América, in collaboration with Carolina Foundation (Fundación Carolina), the Ibermedia Program, the Film and Audiovisual School of the Madrid Community (Escuela de Cine y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid (ECAM)), the Audiovisual Producers Right Management Entity (Entidad de Gestión de Derechos de Productores Audiovisuales (EGEDA)) and the General Directorship of Cultural cooperation of the Ministry of Culture (Dirección General de Cooperación Cultural del Ministerio de Cultura) are calling for participants to Its 6th Course for Development of Ibero American Film Projects.

This course will take place in Madrid and its main objective is to improve Ibero American filmmaker’s audiovisual projects quality, in order to obtain the most out of its potential and place said projects in a field which is safe and qualified for its production. Projects will be developed from their embryonic stage, starting from a rigorous tutorship, until a quality script which can be turned into a film is obtained.
