Iberoamerican Film Crossing Borders kicks off
The Iberoamerican Films Crossing Borders Seminar started today at the Guadalajara International Film Festival. This event, which for the first time will take place outside Europe, is an initiative by the Sociedad General de Autores y Editores (SGAE) from Spain together with the Instituto Buñuel. It was conceived to encourage the circulation of Ibero-American films outside their countries of origin, particularly in Europe, where Latin movies still face difficulties in crossing borders.
The objective of the seminar is to provide Ibero-American professionals of the audiovisual industry with key industry practices, in order to enable them improving the quality and potential of their audiovisual projects in order to promote and sell their films in a competitive international film market place.
