“Synthetic, innocent and colorful”, said Angel Igor Losada, Cultural Director of Guadalajara University about Carolina Kerlow’s work, during the opening of the Cuadro por cuadro (Frame by Frame) exhibit at the Centro Cultural Casa Vallarta.

The exhibit is composed by 34 paintings showing the artist passion for cinema in general and Mexican cinema in particular.

Kerlow works dialogues with some of the classics of the “golden age” of Mexican Cinema, such as Un rincón cerca del cielo, Aventurera or the film icon Tin Tan. Also more recent topics connected with popular culture such as wrestlers and other films like Amores Perros, Danzón, y La tarea, entre otras.
