Directors meet with the press
Two of the most expected Mexican films for this the 23rd edition of the Guadalajara Film Fest are Enemigos Ãntimos and 40 dÃas. Both had their press screenings today and their directors had a meeting with the press where they were able to express their views and answered the journalists questions.
Fernando Sariñana director of Enemigos Ãntimos, together with part of the film crew, among them: Verónica Merchant, Damián Bichir and their children Ximena and Carlos, was one of the participants.
40 dÃas is a film by Juan Carlos MartÃn, also presented to the press. The director commented that the film was finished only three weeks ago, just in time to be premiered for the festival. In the the cast are: Héctor Arredondo, Luisa Sáenz and Andrés Almeida.
Both films compete for the Best Mexican Feature Award.
The Brazilian production Maré, directed by Lucia Murat, -was also present at this press meeting- This film is at the Ibero-American Feature Competition.
