Meeting with the media: Conozca la cabeza de Juan Pérez, Los desafinados, Personal Belongings, and Más allá de mÃÂ
As part of the activities of the XXIII edition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival, during the fourth day of Meetings with the Media, four new competing films were presented: Conozca la cabeza de Juan Pérez, Personal Belongings, Os desafinados, and Más allá de mÃÂ.
The directors of these films held a Q&A session with the press about the story and production of the films.
The Mexican Jesús Mario Lozano and Emilio Portes, directors of Más allá de màand Conozca la cabeza de Juan Pérez, respectively, talked about financial and technical problems of a film production, and the measures to solve them, and screen the film. Both films are competing for Best Mexican Fiction Feature Film.
The international filmmakers the Brazilian Walter Lima, director of Os desafinados, and the Cuban Alejandro Brugués, director of Personal Belongins, also discussed their work. Their films are competing for the Best Ibero-American Fiction Feature Film
