At last, the long-awaited concert screening Napoleon this night at Auditorio Telmex

napoleon-peli-1.jpgTonight at 08:00 pm at the Auditorio Telmex the long-awaited screening Napoleon (1927), by Abel Gance, who was one of the more avant-garde filmmakers of his time will be presented.

The soundtrack was composed by Carmine Coppola and restored in 1981 by Zoetrope Studios thanks to Francis Ford Coppola’s initiative. For this event the orchestra will be conducted by Michael Zearott.

This exhibition has also been presented in Havana, Valladolid, and Los Angeles.

The concert screening will be accompanied by the Camerata Filarmónica conducted by Michael Zearoff and with Dennis James as soloist at the organ.

This gala is organized with the collaboration of the Dirección General de Difusión Cultural.
