Meeting with the Press:El Camino, Mejor es que Gabriela no se Muera, Cómo no te voy a querer

EncuentroMediosIVTalk guide by the Festival’s Programming director Lucy Virgen, was started by Ishtar Yasin, director of El camino, who mentioned that this film took seven years to complete and was produced to generous private aid in Costa Rica.

In the past edition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival, Yasin received two awards from Guadalajara Construye. Later, Sergio Umansky, director of Mejor es que Gabriela no se muera, remembered that in the past edition of the Festival he tried to participate with this film but he could present it on time. He expressed that the creative process should not be hasten to participate in any festival.

Víctor Jesús Avelar, director of Cómo no te voy a querer, received support from the CCC and his own Taller de Ópera Prima. To conclude, the director of Perro come perro, Carlos Moreno, talked about his preference for stories that are strong and full of action.
