The section will screen a series of fiction, shorts and documentaries specially produced for children. This programme aims to give a panorama of the cinema of nowadays to tomorrow’s audience.

Films will be screened at the University of Guadalajara’s Cineforo at 9:30 am.

A jury composed by three kids (Barbara Morán, Josué Hernández e YItzel Morgado) will bestow the prize to Best Children’s Film.

Starting on Saturday, March 8th and thru March 14th, the small ones will be again part of this Festival, whose objective is to bring new and young audiences to its screenings.

Youngsters and their classmates, friends and families will enjoy different filmed adventures, and get a good taste of films produced in Ibero-America.

Screenings are being scheduled in coordination with local schools, but if you want to come on your own, you can watch programs at the Cineforo.

Don’t miss the opportunity to see some of the films which otherwise will be hard to catch on the commercial cinema circuit, and be part of this XXIII edition of the International Film Festival in our city.
