Trailer: “Le Déclin de L’empire Américaine” by Denis Arcand

This programme, which was conceived to showcase the cinema of this very particular and cultural diverse Canadian region, is presented with the collaboration of the Festival Les Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québécoise and SODEC (Société de Développement des Entreprises Culturelles).

The presence of Quebec in Guadalajara will not be only restricted to screenings. A series of different activities, workshops and industry meetings are scheduled, such as:

Panorama:Six screenings with 4 fiction films, 2 documentaries an a compilation of short films. Various directors will be present at the screenings.

• Animation Workshop
• Quebec-México Industry Meeting: Authorities, producers and distributors from Quebec and México will talk about coproduction possibilities and shared industry challenges. The meeting will take place within the scope of film industry activities.
