Every year, The Guadalajara International Film Festival helps raise funds and awareness for good causes by organizing special Charity Screenings at the Teatro Diana. Usually, the screenings are national premieres such as the one we hosted in 2007, occasion in which Agustín Díaz Yanes’s Alatriste was screened with the presence of its director and international star Viggo Mortensen. Another high profile 2007 Charity Presentations were the screenings of Invisibles directed by Wim Wenders and Javier Corcuera amongst others and the Mexican feature ¿Por qué se frotan las patitas? by Alvaro Benignes.
